Hello my People!  I have been out and sick for awhile, but I am feeling much better.  I recently celebrated my birthday on Monday, May 19th.  Happy Birthday to me!!!

I have been blessed to live in a very nice house, drive a very nice car and live in a very very nice neighborhood, material things, but let me make this point.  On my birthday, I took the day off and wanted to pick up my daughter as she got off the school bus.  I was waiting at the entrance of our subdivision talking on the phone with my wife.  All of a sudden, in the rearview mirror, I see a police car pulling up behind me.  I see them running my plates and as I tell my wife, I see ’2′ of them get out, hands positioned on their weapons and approach me! 

I tell my wife, I’ll call her back, and as they approach, I ask, “Can I help you?”  The one police replies, “Is everything allright?”  My reply, “I live here, I am here to pick up my daughter.”  “Oh, he says, we just wanted to make sure.”  My thoughts as they both retreat…. Asshole!!!!!!!!!!!!

 In 2008, in a year of many firsts…it is still so amazing that no matter how well dressed, no matter how nice the car, no matter how nice the neighborhood….I was still viewed by these country cops as a nigger!  I pray for Obama…if he does win, can you imagine the risks everyday he will go through.  The problem still exists in America that even the poorest of white trash to the richest of white people, still see themselves as better than us.

I still try to learn from the experiences, God allows in my life and I am still meditating, still pissed and still trying to put in perspective… my birthday present.
