A Road Not Traveled Before…
As I caught up with the Debate last night and all of the comments in the media and especially…talk radio, I am reminded of:
- All of the nic-picking on what the candidates say, who they are associated with makes for good airplay, but the fact is we are on a collision course with history! America is ready for a change… however, the political and right wing conservatives know that anything to take away from the last 8 years of Bush is a diversion.
- A female and a black man are in a unique position that, we have always said, would not happen in our lifetime..but it’s happening.
- Most Blacks have said, “a black man will win, when the world is about to end”, well it is happening. Is the world giving us signs??
- The fact that most whites believe in Obama, has ‘flipped the switch’ on the uppity Negros who have made it, that’s why they are feeling… why not me, or what can you do for me. (Can you say Robert Johnson or Tavis Smiley?)
- Last but not least… what is GOD trying to tell us in this move? It’s going to happen, what GOD has ordained, no Rush Limbaugh, conservative, Clinton Machine, angry rich Black folk, can stop… feel me?
